The  attached letter contains further information about an issue that we have been dealing with in school recently where a small number of pupils have used other pupils' phone numbers to pay for games on their own Xbox Games Console.

We would ask all parents/carers of students who own an Xbox or similar console device to remind their children that they should never pass on codes from their phones to other pupils or friends.  Please also check that you have the correct security and parental controls in place for your child's device.

Also be aware that payment for games can be taken from a phone bill so you would need to check your phone bill as well as your bank statement if you are concerned that your child has shared such a code.
