In celebration of LGBT History Month, we were privileged to be joined by Carl Austin-Behan, a former politician and community activist, who now serves as an LGBT advisor to the Mayor of Manchester. 

Carl said:

"It was a pleasure visiting Altrincham College during LGBT+ History Month, meeting with Mr Callaghan, Vinnie & Eleanor. It's always great to see pupils taking the lead and showing initiative when it comes to raising challenging topics. I thought some of the questions were extremely important with powerful messages that need to be addressed in schools, colleges and within the workplace. I wish them all the best with their citizenship examination paper. Carl Austin-Behan".
