Gold Award

Five students in Year 12 recently completed their gold expedition.  The students reported, "we went to Coniston on a 7 day, 6 night combined expedition, spending 3 nights at Coniston Sports Centre, with an additional 3 nights at Bays Brown Campsite in Great Langdale. This involved country and mountain walks with bird watching as our aim. We learnt key skills such as: teamwork, map reading and developing resilience. It was an overall great experience, and we thoroughly recommended it to other students as the scheme is highly valued by universities and employers."
