Congratulations to our 2022/23 cohort of four students who completed their gold award. They now await their special invite to Buckingham Palace to receive this prestigious award.
The students remember their gold expedition fondly. "We went to Coniston on a 7 day, 6 night combined expedition, spending 3 nights at Coniston Sports Centre, with an additional 3 nights at Bays Brown Campsite in Great Langdale. This involved country and mountain walks with bird watching as our aim. We learnt key skills such as teamwork, map reading and developing resilience. It was an overall great experience, and we thoroughly recommended it to other students as the scheme is highly valued by universities and employers."
