Ways to help your child

How can I help my child at Key Stage 3?

  1. Encourage them to consider a wide variety of alternate viewpoints
  2. Encourage the listening or watching of current affairs programmes where moral issues are discussed
  3. As a compulsory subject, encourage a positive attitude towards RE.
  4. Ensure your child has the correct equipment and they are organised with their homework/planner.

How can I help my child at Key Stage 4?

  1. Ensure your child buys the Revision Guide from school.
  2. Help them to plan a revision timetable. Three years of study cannot be revised in a short time. Help them to carefully plan their revision before exams.
  3. Ensure they have the correct equipment.
  4. Support their attendance at any revision sessions both at lunchtime and after school.
