How can I help my child at Key Stage 3?

  1. Encourage a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the subject.
  2. Discuss their homework with them, and make sure this is completed to the highest possible standard.
  3. Encourage your child to check spelling, punctuation and grammar in every piece of work they do across all topics.

How can I help my child at Key Stage 4?

  1. Ensure your child buys the appropriate revision guides from school (letters will be sent from the department at appropriate times).
  2. Ensure your child completes their homework on a weekly basis to a high standard.
  3. Ensure they have the correct classroom equipment.
  4. Support their attendance at any revision sessions after school.
  5. Help them carefully plan their revision before exams. Make sure they are answering questions and revising vocabulary.
