Summer 2019 Exam Season & Contingency Date
The 2019 Summer Exam Season for GCE and GCSE students will run from 13th May 2019 to 17th June 2019, with half term week 27th May to 31st May 2019, when no exams are scheduled.
Candidates will receive a timetable confirming their individual exam dates by early in March 2019.
The Joint Council of Qualifications “ JCQ”, the body that governs all Exam Boards sat by students at Altrincham College, has announced a Contingency Date for Summer 2019 examination season.
The contingency date is Wednesday 26th June 2019 and all candidates must be available on that date in the event of a re-scheduling of an exam(s).
Please note that this instruction is nationwide and applies to all candidates in all schools administered by the JCQ.

JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications)
We are required to conduct examinations and assessments for general qualifications in accordance with the JCQ regulations* and awarding bodies' instructions. The school is regularly inspected (without prior notification) to ensure that these regulations are being implemented.
