A talented Year 12 Physics pupil, Jason Gardner, has been awarded a Nuffield Research Placement during the summer holidays in the faculty of Science and Engineering at MMU!

Jason will spend 4 weeks working on an Astrophysics project, tracking orbiting satellites as well as analysing downloaded weather data.

Nuffield Research Placements provide opportunities for students who are between Years 12 and 13 and are considering university, to take part in STEM-related research.

Competition for a placement on this national scheme is competitive and such was the quality of Jason's application that he has also been awarded a bursary as well!
