Following the death of George Floyd in America and the recent Black Lives Matter demonstrations and campaign, some of our students have created some excellent symbols, posters and done research to represent BLM.

Congratulations to the Year 7 and Year 8 students who took part in Mr McWatt’s challenge to design an animated GIF or image as a tribute to our key workers.  They’ve produced some fantastic designs, well done!  A selection of just some of their work is below. 

Also a special mention to Erin, Year 7 who created a fantastic animation of a boot stamping out the virus, Ruby, Year 7 for her wonderful rainbow art, Maddison, Yr 7 for her clever animation and Ben, Year 8 for his 'thank you to nurses' picture
