Welcome to Altrincham College TV (ACTV)
TV by students, for students.
Based in the main school LRC, we aim to report on the things that matter to you! Each term we will be working to produce a range of videos and shows ranging from documentaries and short films, to covering sports and school events! If you are interested in any part of TV production we would love for you to join us!
The ACTV team meet after school each Tuesday in the LRC – come along to learn about what we are working on and how you can get involved!
It doesn’t matter whether you’re interested in production, presenting, writing or editing, there’s room for everyone! We have a core team of students as well as opportunities for ‘freelancers’ to join us for one-offs or special projects.
Can’t make the meeting? Don’t worry! Send an email over to actv@altrinchamcollege.com to tell us what you’re interested in and we will keep you up to date with upcoming productions and activities!
- Want to present your own show?
- Develop experience as a journalist?
- Write or direct a short film?
- Learn to edit?
- Manage a production team?
- Or just join a great activity and make friends?
Whatever it is, ACTV is the place for you!
To get involved come along to one of our meetings, or email us! We are more than happy to teach you anything you want to know. Previous experience is not required.
We Will Rock You:
ACTV were recently fortunate enough to catch a behind the scenes look at the fantastic ACTC production of 'We Will Rock You.'
Our roving reporter Flo caught up with members of the cast and the wonderful Ms Mrozinski to find out about the show, the process of putting on the annual production and just how much fun can be had in the theatre!
In conversation with Mrs Mrozinski:
About our school's LGBTQ+ community:
ACTV was joined by Ms Bruckshaw for a conversation about her role as a Pastoral Support Manager, the wonderful LGBTQ+ Space and details of what's coming up to celebrate the forthcoming Pride Week!
