Year 7 student Danny Shoesmith is to appear in the brand-new series of the children's TV programme 'Class Dimissed.'  This 10 part series airs on Monday 29 November, on BBC iPlayer and on CBBC.

Danny has done incredibly well to be cast as one of the 10 lead roles, getting through four rounds of casting and competing against over 1,000 children who also auditioned for the part!  He also worked extremely hard on the series, which involved 15 days of 10-hour shoots, and required a lot of energy and concentration.

Danny plays the part of Oli, a year 7 student who is a bit nerdy and also a bit of a cheeky scamp!  The series producer said Danny was an absolute pleasure to work with, whilst the director said the world is his oyster with his acting talent.
