Proud Day for Year 11
Altrincham College celebrated another year of excellent GCSE results, with the number of top grades awarded at 9-7 up on last year. These results highlight strong achievement across all subjects.
Headteacher Mr Keegan said:
“These results are a wonderful achievement for our students who have shown such resilience, commitment and a determination to succeed. We are also delighted that these outcomes follow our recent Ofsted success, providing further evidence of the exceptional work taking place across our school. On behalf of staff, I would like to congratulate all students on their achievements, and we wish them every success in the future.”
Students collecting their results this morning spoke of their excitement and relief.
There were double celebrations for Emilia and her twin sister Victoria, who both achieved an impressive set of GCSE results, gaining an incredible 12 grade 9s between them. Emilia said, “I was really stressed but all my hard work has paid off. I am shocked at how well I did.”
Several students also achieved exceptional individual results, including Charlotte who gained six grade 9s, one 8 and two 7s.
Neel, who achieved four grade 9s and five grade 8s said, “I am so happy, as I did much better than I thought.” and Eva who achieved five grade 9s, two grade 8s and 2 grade 7s, said, “I feel great!”
Many students will now progress to Altrincham College’s Sixth Form to commence A Level and vocational courses in September.
