During the European Championships we will be running a festival of football. In your PE lessons you will be placed in one of the Teams Taking Part in the European Football Championships (shown below) and take part in fun competitions and after school events. 

14th - 25th June – PE Lesson activities and competitions, including: 

Blind Football, Crab Football, 5-Aside Football and Football Tennis. Competition winners will receive a prize! 

28th June - 1st July – Football Themed Lessons 

Tuesday 15th June: Year 9 Euro’s Football Competition – after school 

Thursday 17th June: Year 7 Euro’s Football Competition – after school   

Monday 21st June: Year 10 Euro’s Football Competition – after school   

Tuesday 22nd June: Year 8 Euro’s Football Competition – after school 

Other Activities: 

“In Conversation with Marcus Rashford” A unique talk from a local legend to be screened in throughout the second week of the tournament. 

Monday 28th June: Boys Football Masterclass and Tournament (1pm – 3pm) 

Thursday 1st July: Girls Football Masterclass and Tournament (1pm – 3pm) 

 

Students will also have the option to wear football kits to PE lessons over the next three weeks. If they choose to do this, they should make a donation of £1 which will be donated to the charity Free Kicks Foundation. Further information on this charity can be found here
