Year 7 Curriculum Overview
Year 7 design a new scheme of work which uses the mastery approach and use of mathematical reasoning to promote the resilience to problem solving, with a main focus on the number topics.
They are assessed during two MAD (make a difference) lessons with a short review of work covered in the previous two weeks. At the end of the topic there is a formal assessment. From this assessment there will be two weeks of intervention to "plug the gaps" before moving onto the next topic.
