Altrincham College of Arts - To Know To Care To Live
Thanks! You will now receive our regular newsletter to your inbox.
Pupils in all year groups are given the opportunity to take part in residential visits. They can try their hand at outdoor pursuits including canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, skiing and pony trekking. Teachers or Instructors supervising each activity all have the relevant sporting body qualification to lead groups, and the safety of our pupils is always our number one priority.
In 2010 year 7 visited Scarborough and year 9 had an outdoor pursuits residential in the Lake District. In addition, there are regular Easter ski holidays, summer sports tours and a number of subject linked residential visits.
In addition to residentials, many other visits, including field studies, theatre trips, out of school workshops, museum and gallery visits, all extending and enhancing learning in school.
We consider residential and field visits to play a major part in the personal and educational development of our pupils.
If your child has opted to go on a school trip they should take the money/cheque (payable to Altrincham College of Arts) to the school office.
