Altrincham College of Arts - To Know To Care To Live

The Gallery

An exciting exhibition space has been designed and built at this specialist Arts College in the south of Manchester. The Gallery is approximately 90 metres by 175 metres well lit by both artificial and natural light. The Gallery is designed to cater for large or small displays of work which need hanging as well as floor space for larger items. Additionally, we can accommodate the free hanging of large pieces of work and textiles. The Gallery has its own entrance and is available for use out of school hours and all day on Sunday. There is a hospitality area available for use when launching an exhibition. There is plenty of parking space adjacent to the Gallery.

College students and local primary and secondary pupils use the Gallery on a regular basis, exhibiting their work in a professional way. Individual artists, groups of artists and community groups are welcome to use the Gallery. If you are interested in talking to somebody about booking the space, please telephone the College on 0161 980 7173 and ask for Mrs Maxine Leech, Art Gallery Coordinator.

The College employs a full-time Technician who is available by arrangement to assist with exhibitions.
