Two years ago, school had to stay closed after the Christmas break for several days due to the extreme snowy/icy conditions that made the school site unsafe. Although these occasions are extremely rare, it is only prudent that we take steps in case of something similar occurring in the future.

When school had to close, the telephone switchboard was jammed for several hours with, understandably, concerned parents wanting up-to-date information. The information given was always to keep checking the school website!

All the latest and most accurate information regarding school and whether or not it is open will always be placed on the school website. However, to compliment this we will also be posting information on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
