Performing Arts

Visual Arts, Music, Drama and Dance are part of the curriculum and feature strongly in the extra curricular opportunities offered. Children can join Arts and Theatre Clubs, the Choir, Steel Band, Percussion Band, Orchestra, Drama Club and Dance Club.

Each year there are a variety of drama and musical performances to which parents and pupils are invited. As well as the annual Christmas concert, a major production is staged each year. Recent shows have included The Wizard of Oz, Godspell, Annie, Our Day Out, High School Musical and Oliver, all staged to great acclaim. The 2012 production will be Grease.

Music lessons are also available on an individual basis for: - Brass, Percussion, Steel Drums, Violin /Viola, Woodwind (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone), Guitar and Piano. Instrument tuition lessons are available at a heavily subsidised cost to pupils through to graded music examinations.

A new music sound studio opened in school in 2011, run in conjunction with Trafford Music Service, to offer the very best in state of the art rehearsal and recording facilities.
